A cucoloris, often known as a cookie, is a device that creates patterned shadows and silhouettes. There's many different ways to achieve this with hard cookies made of poster board or plywood, with soft cookies made from plastic impregnated screens, or improvised with tree branches and other items that let through patterned light.
