A Kino Flo–often abbreviated to simply Kino–is a color corrected fluorescent light produced for the film and television industry by the Kino Flo company. Unlike conventional consumer and industrial fluorescent lighting, Kino Flo lights are color-balanced to the typical film and television color temperatures of tungsten and daylight.

Kino Flo lighting also runs at a much higher frequency than conventional fluorescent lighting in order to avoid flicker, and the ballast circuitry is kept in a separate chassis to improve portability of the light banks.

Kino Flo lights are extremely popular for greenscreen and bluescreen lighting, where color consistency and even illumination of the background is essential.
