Andrew Hughan is currently a Public Information Officer for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. He routinely provides photo and video content to news organizations for use in their products. He is a retired military combat photojournalist who served in such garden spots as Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Honduras, Panama and many other much nicer places. He has been flying in various aircraft for more than 30 years and is now immersed in the work of remote controlled rotary aircraft, using them in limited ways for his job assisting other State agencies and using them to demonstrate the unique perspective the camera equipped aircraft can show.
