Nathan Bettisworth’s body of work and experience includes shared video storage and file-based workflows with the U.S. Department of Defense, and expertise as Post-Production Engineer to numerous popular television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, The New Girl, Dish Nation, and many others. He holds “Elite” status as an Avid Certified Support Representative with over 10 years experience as a non-linear editor. From SD workflows to beyond 2k, Nathan helps educate, design, implement, and troubleshoot editing and storage issues for the post-production industry. He has produced, directed, and edited over 70 marketing videos for local Southern California businesses. In 2010, he produced and edited the short film, Stealing Home, which was written, shot, and edited within the limited contest constraints of 168 hours. It was nominated for 11 festival awards, including Best Picture. Along with courses in video and film editing at Video Symphony, Nathan will be completing his MFA in Motion Pictures and Television in Spring 2013. Nathan is an Associate Member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is listed on the Industry Experience Roster.
